**As of August 11, 2022, project was awarded to Williams Equip Svcs LLC, for 1.5" Asphalt Overlay 128.99/ton and 2" Asphalt Overlay 128.99/ton** Bid specifications may be viewed online and bids may be submitted online. Bid envelopes MUST be sealed and marked on outside with company name, item being bid, date and time of bid opening, and contractors license number. Failure to seal and mark bid envelopes correctly will result in your bid being rejected. The Vernon Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 & 2214. Unless otherwise authorized by the Parish Road Manager. 1. Chip Seal: labor, equipment, and materials to lay sections of level and chip seal with washed granite/rhyolite Hatton Tuff over existing blacktop, 12 22 wide road from April 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. No minimum on square yardage required per job. Must meet LADOTD specifications. Contractor to respond and perform within five (5) days of notice from Vernon Parish Police Jury. 2. Asphalt Road Leveling (Level 1 Non-Polymer): furnish labor, material, and equipment from asphalt repair and leveling of parish roads from April 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. Leveling to include cutting out and removal of unstable base material and replace with Level 1 Non-Polymer. No minimum on tonnage required per job.
