Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tower City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the following: 2022 Bituminous Pavingon various streets in the Borough of Tower City, Schuylkill County as follows: 3,873 SY of Full Width Miling 2 Depth 174 Tons of 9.5mm Leveling Course 348 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course All material must meet PENNDOT Pub 408 Specifications and Standards, bidders do no need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Borough. Bidders should review the proposed work with the Municipality. For further project information contact Paul Ruth, Chairman at 570-394-0941, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Tower City Borough. The successful bidders for the 2022 Bituminous Paving will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contracts. The Borough Council of Tower City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and/or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interests of the Borough.
