The Project includes the following Work: Work of the Project includes renovation of a bank building for use as an outpatient health clinic, pharmacy, and general dentistry clinic. The interior renovation consists of demolition of most existing interior partitions and rebuilding according the new floor plan. New casework and finishes shall also be applied. Existing ceilings shall be removed, and new ceilings, lighting, and mechanical equipment shall be installed. New mechanical systems (heat pumps and gas furnaces) will replace existing gas-fueled water radiator heating and heat pump cooling units. Plumbing work includes removal of existing pipes, and providing new waste and supply lines and plumbing fixtures. Additionally, plumbing work will also include installing a new backflow preventer. Electrical work shall include upgrades to the building transformer as well as supplying additional power to the building with a new panel. Reconfiguring existing panels shall also occur. Existing romex wiring shall also be removed and upgraded. New power and data receptacles shall also be configured according to the new floor plans. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Camden Family Health, Inc. in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21- 1D-5. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 30-42-12 of the West Virginia Code. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. The Camden Family Health, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
