IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS REGARDING BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Given the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on site at the Quebec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. To keep up to date on the status of certain projects, please visit Buyandsell.gc.ca DESCRIPTION Correctional Service Canada (CSC) wishes to drain the sludge from the aerated ponds of its Cowansville Institution wastewater treatment plant, dehydrate it mechanically and dispose of it either by recovery/spreading on site or by landfilling. The objective of this contract consists of the supply of all labour, service, material, machinery and chemical products necessary for the complete execution of the work.

Following the awarding of the contract to the contractor, the latter must undertake to carry out the work within 18 weeks. Bidders must communicate to 350-Agentstechniques@CSC-SCC.GC.CA no later than June 20 at 1:00 p.m. to confirm their attendance, provide the name of the person(s) who will attend the visit and provide a certificate on the vaccination policy against Covid-19.
Instructions will be emailed to you. Bidders must then, at their discretion, submit their questions to the contracting authority by email following the visit since no details can be answered during the observation of the premises. Any clarifications or changes made to the bid solicitation as a result of the site visit will be included in the bid solicitation as an amendment.
