As of April 2, 2025, an architect has been selected and design is underway. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Glastonbury will be accepting proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide professional services to carry out design development, construction drawings and specifications, provide bid assistance, construction administration and estimating for the renovation of the Williams Memorial section of the Academy / Town Hall complex. An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority/Women/Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit a proposal. Any technical questions regarding this RFQ shall be made in writing and directed to Dave Sacchitella, Facilities Superintendent by email at dave.sacchitella@glastonbury-ct.gov. For administrative questions concerning this proposal, please contact Mary F. Visone, Purchasing Agent, by email at purchasing@glastonbury-ct.gov. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any part of, or the entire proposal, when said action is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
