Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Indiantown, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of November 10, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Village of Indiantown Florida has been awarded a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The Village of Indiantown hereby requests qualifications from qualified individuals or firms to provide engineering services for the drainage and roadway repair improvements for the Uptown Area. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to provide interested Companies with sufficient information to enable them to submit a comprehensive response for the Village's review. To participate in this solicitation, prospective parties must be able to provide satisfactory proof of financial stability, have, at a minimum, ten (10) years' of verifiable experience in providing professional engineering services The project requires a professional engineering firm to provide design and surveying services for Uptown Drainage and Roadway Repair Improvement Project located within the boundaries of the Village of Indiantown, Florida. The project area is bounded by SW American Street to the north, SW Osceola Street to the south, SW Indian Mound Drive to the east and SW Adams Avenue to the west. There is currently little to no existing drainage infrastructure within the Uptown Area. The existing drainage infrastructure that is present consists of roadside swale areas which are not fully functioning and do not provide an adequate level of service. The current roadway typical section consists of a two lane rural section with one (1) five-foot concrete sidewalk and grass swales. During and after significant rainfall events, the Uptown Area experiences severe flooding. The Village is looking to redesign the existing drainage system to include milling and resurfacing of roadways, pavement overbuild to provide new roadway profiles, new valley gutter, and new underground drainage infrastructure to mitigate flooding and provide stormwater conveyance in the project area. The village also seeks to provide an additional five foot concrete sidewalk along the existing roadways with crosswalks and ADA facilities at intersections. Consultant shall provide all engineering design and surveying services of needed drainage and roadway improvements throughout the designated area and provide shovel ready designs to include, but not limited to: 1. Site investigation and data collection evaluating existing Stormwater drainage system to determine areas of concern a. Topographic Survey b. Subsurface Utility Verification c. Geotechnical Investigation d. Document Review e. Site Visits 2. Design plans for bidding purpose a. 30%, 60%, 90% and final submittal design plans and technical specifications b. Design Review Meetings c. Public involvement/Outreach Efforts 3. Permitting and coordination with Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies From the date of issue to the public until after the Notice of Award has been issued by the Village, Prospective Companies shall make any and all contact with the Village through the Village Clerk's Office via email at: sowens@Indiantownfl.gov. Any written inquiries that are received by the Village Clerk's Office that are deemed to have an effect upon the unbiased selection of the Prospective Company, the solicitation process or the award of the Contract and are received by the Village in a timely manner shall be answered and issued by the Village. The Village and its employees, elected officials, and representatives will not respond to verbal inquiries. In addition, the Village of Indiantown reserves the right to not respond to written inquiries that are received after the established inquiry deadline of June 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. EST, or to those inquiries whose answers are contained in the solicitation documents or to inquiries that are deemed inconsequential, trivial, or negative The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
