Renovation of a water / sewer project in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Specification for Repair and Rebuild of Scum Biosolids Hoist The successful supplier shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to repair and rebuild the Scum Biosolids Hoist to include: Remove the existing hoist from runway and transport to location for a complete rebuild and overhaul. Remove all motors and send to motor shop for rewinding and rebuilding. Replace existing trolley and Hoist controls with PE VDF Controls Remove gear cases, drain all oils, open, and inspect all gear cases. All Gear Cases to be refilled with oil. Clean and re-paint unit. Re-install unit at treatment plant location and install new wire rope and install existing Grapple. Rebuilt unit will be load tested when completed. HRSD will provide: Power supply to crane for job duration Bin for disposal of job soils *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
