Title: Construction - SIERRA VISTA RANGER DISTRICT OFFICE SECURITY UPGRADES Description of Work. Planned Work: The District Office is a Leased Building. The existing configuration of the lobby provides no safety barrier for frontline employees from any visitors to the District Office. The work associated with this project includes addition of new Polycarbonate Barrier U.L. 752 Level 1 with non-secure framing on the counter in the front lobby, construction of a new steel stud and gypsum wallboard wall with wood door and frame (U.L. 752 Level 1 compliant) in the entryway. The proposed upgrades would allow the frontline employees to safely perform their duties while minimizing their exposure to both physical and biological threats. Provide and Install a Video Surveillance System. All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the operations for the work specified. Location: Work will take place at Sierra Vista Ranger District Office Complex, which is located in the town of Sierra Vista within Cochise County, Arizona. The complex is part of the Sierra Vista Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest. The administrative complex is comprised of the District Office and a warehouse/shop.
