Site work and paving for a road / highway in Junction City, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Subcontractor declarations must be submitted to the above-mentioned representative no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 08, 2022. The work under this contract will consist of replacement of approximately 1,350 Ln. Ft. (28,315 Sq. Ft.) of Deal Street. The project is to remove 10" of the roadway and replace with road fabric, 6" of 3/4 " minus rock and 4" of asphalt. Complete bids must be received by the CITY OF JUNCTION CITY, addressed as follows by the closing date and time or they will be rejected as non-responsive: City of Junction City Gary Kaping, Public Works Director 1171 Elm Street Junction City, OR 97448 Bids will be received as a combination of unit price and lump sum bid items. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the Instructions to Bidders, and accompanied by a bid security executed in favor of the Owner in the amount not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. Bid security is to be forfeited as fixed and liquidated damage should the bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a contract and provide suitable insurance certificates; bond and other required documents for the faithful performance of the work in the event bidder is awarded the contract. All bidders must be "equal opportunity employers" and comply with the appropriate provisions of state and federal law. In addition, all bidders are required to comply with ORS 656.017 regarding workers' compensation. Bidder, Contractor, and Subcontractors are required to be registered with Construction Contractors Board. Bidder, Contractor and Subcontractors are not required to be licensed under ORS 468A.720 for asbestos abatement. Each Bidder must submit a subcontractor list to the Owner within two working hours of the time for receipt of bids in accordance with ORS 279C.370 (3) and OAR 137-049-0360. This contract is for public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Prevailing wage rates for public works' contracts in Oregon are required for this project. Before starting work, the contractor and every subcontractor employed under this contract is required to have a public works bond filed with the Construction Contractors Board, in accordance with ORS 279C.830 (3), unless the contractor or subcontractor is exempt under ORS 279C.836 (4), (7), (8), or (9). The Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may, for good cause, reject any and all bids upon a finding of the Owner that it is in the public interest to do so. No bidder may withdraw or modify a bid after the hour set for the receipt of bids, and thereafter until the lapse of 45 days after the bid opening.
