As of February 9, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified. General contractor bidding is unknown at this time. The City of Superior, Wisconsin seeking proposals for design firms to perform the evaluation and detailed design for replacement of all city bus shelters (estimated at 32 locations). The project will include determining optimum placement of bus shelters followed by detail design of each location including all necessary work at each location including concrete pad construction, sidewalk improvements, curb modifications, and actual shelter construction including amenities such as lighting. Final plans and specifications to be completed by January 15, 2023. The City of Superior will receive sealed bids/proposals from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby notified to contact only members of the City of Superior Staff as identified within the bidding documents. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids/proposals, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
