Renovation of a municipal facility in Oxford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work for the project will consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1. The work specified under this RFQ and described herein is subject to Massachusetts prevailing wage law. Contractors shall make provisions in their quotation to pay their employees prevailing wages as detailed on the accompanying wage schedule in Appendix A. 2. Remove and dispose of existing railings on the bandstand platform and stair cases leading to the bandstand platform. 3. Furnish and install ornamental railings on the bandstand platform, two stair cases leading up to the bandstand platform, and on the ADA ramp curb leading to the bandstand platform. 4. As an add/alt, please provide a quote to furnish and install AAB compliant rails attached to the ornamental railings being furnished and installed on the ramp. 5. All ornamental railings shall be white vinyl with vertical balusters. 6. All ornamental railings shall have a height of 36 inches above the walking surface. 7. The ornamental railing on the south side of the bandstand shall have the capability of swinging open inward, so that viewing of the bandstand during functions will be unimpeded by the ornamental railing. As shown on Page 1 of Appendix B: Joslin Park Bandstand Ramp. 8. The Contractor is responsible for pulling all applicable Federal, State, and Local permits for the installation of the railings. Permit fees shall be borne on the Contractor. 9. The Contractors price quotation shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and incidentals customary to complete the work. 10. Work shall be completed during normal daytime work hours, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. The Contractor shall coordinate their construction schedule around recreational program schedules, subject to the approval of the DPW Director
