As of July 29, 2022, project was awarded to Building Specialists with an awarded amount of $1,036,200.00. Project will start construction on August 1st and will be finished by December this year. There is a need to install a data center and lift in preparation for the future Administration Building located at 201 Campbell Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24011. 1. A bid bond must be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Offeror, Offeror will enter into the contract for the work stated in the IFB. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond will be rejected. 2. A performance bond to assure strict conformity to plans and specifications. 3. A payment bond to assure payment of labor and materials to suppliers and subcontractors. 4. Contractor is to be responsible for payment of all bonds relating to work quality, erosion control, permits/fees to reviewing agencies as needed. 1. RCPS further reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such Offeror fails to satisfy RCPS that such Offeror is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein.
