As of February 8, 2024, this project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Project will consist of design, coordination and replacement of select windows located on South and East facades of Gateway Building A (building 860 located at 1595 N High Street) and Building B (building 862 located at 1620 N High Street). These 5-story low rise buildings located off High Street currently house student residential apartments and retail space. Existing windows on floors 2 through 5 (wood framed metal clad windows) will be replaced with storefront windows of similar shape and design to match existing. Work will need to be phased and coordinated to accommodate a year round occupied building of residences and retail shops. The University has completed a preliminary study regarding windows to be included in scope for replacement. It is anticipated that during the design of the project, the A/E will work to assess the conditions of all windows as well as some other building envelope and mechanical elements (Roof and possible HVAC) in the building and inform the University of condition, potential work to be included in future phases of replacement and when that work would need to occur.
