This specification will be used to provide the service of a licensed contractor in completing various tasks such as lighting, plugs, electric services, equipment installers, etc., throughout the Town of North Branford, CT with respect to Town-owned and maintained facilities. The Contractor will be required to take out the necessary permits, if required, to undertake these activities. The Town Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make purchases other than strictly in accordance with price consideration, and/or to choose other than the lowest bidder, if it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of North Branford. All bidders are advised that the Town of North Branford will affirmatively assure any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and are encouraged to do so. The base contract will be for two (2) years, with a one (1) year renewable option with negotiated fees for year 3 between the Town and the contractor.
