City of Quinte West owns and operates the Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre (Frankford Arena) located at 35 March Street, Frankford, Ontario. A need has been identified for a dedicated dressing room space in the building for the Huskies organization players and coaching staff. The anticipated outcome of this RFP will be the selection of one (1) qualified General Contractor who will provide a turnkey solution acceptable to the City of Quinte West that is within the budget allocation. The City of Quinte West owns and operates the Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre (Frankford Arena) located at 35 March Street, Frankford, Ontario. The Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre is home to the Frankford Huskies organization that are part of the PJHL (Junior C), based out of Quinte West, in the Tod Division. The Huskies management have identified the need for dedicated dressing room space in the building for players and coaching staff. Currently, the facility is equipped with 4 dressing rooms which are also accessed by other users, including minor hockey. The building construction is 1967, steel block construction. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a call for qualified individuals/contractors to provide their concept and costs for consideration. The anticipated outcome of this RFP will be the selection of one (1) qualified General Contractor who will provide a turnkey solution acceptable to the City of Quinte West that is within the budget allocation of $400,000.00 (four hundred thousand dollars) including HST.
