The purpose of this contract is to comply with the Consent Decree requirement that ALCOSAN performs an inspection of the drop shafts, where the average daily Dry Weather Flow is less than 0.5 MOD, every 10 years. The previous inspection was completed in 2012 under Contract 1470, CCTV Inspection of ALCOSAN Drop Shafts. The drop shafts are inspected using CCTV cameras and are graded using NAASCO pipe conditions criteria. ALCOSAN encourages businesses owned and operated by minorities and women to submit bids on Authority Contracts or to participate as subcontractors or suppliers to successful Bidders. Successful Bidders are to use minority and women's businesses to the fullest extent possible. Bid Security in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) is required. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond equal to the Bid Price. Contract documents must be purchased directly from ALCOSAN to qualify as an eligible bidder.
