The project consists of the following: demolition, excavation, curbs, paving base repair, stone subbase, milling, asphalt paving asphalt paving, seeding and mulching, etc. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The City of or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be mitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-lusion Affidavit with the bid. A Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of amount of the contract and issued by a corporate surety authorized to business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be required to be nished by the successful bidder. Compliance with Act 127 of 2012 requiring all contractors and tors to use e-Verify for verification of employment eligibility for all ees will be required. Verification form shall be provided to the City of bury as a precondition of being awarded a contract. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage and Related Acts apply to this Project. Bids may be held by the City for up to 60 days from the date of opening the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of ders prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. The project is locally funded with the City's Liquid Fuels Funds and to all related State regulations. Awards shall be made only to responsible bidders that possess the tial ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of procurement. Consideration shall be given to such matters as bidder tegrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance and cial and technical resources when determining responsibility.
