The County of Inyo Public Works Department is soliciting Statement of Qualifications for professional services from qualified airport consulting firms. The County seeks to enter into a 5 year on-call contract for Airport Architectural and Engineering Services with one or more selected consultants. The types of services may include, but not be limited to: general consulting services; preparation and administration of the necessary applications and documents for Federal Aviation Administration AIP grant funding; oversee County's Disadvantages Business (DBE) Plan; provide engineering design and other services as required by the County; provide construction administration, inspection, and testing services during construction projects; and attend meetings as required by the County. Anticipated projects include the Runway 12-30 Safety Area Improvement Project and the Commercial Service Terminal and Ramp Project at the Bishop Airport, and the Taxiway Rehabilitation Project and Lighting System Upgrade Project at the Lone Pine/Death Valley Airport.
