Invitation for Bid for 22-084 Road Resurfacing Projects AFR1-AFR2, numerous paving operations to be conducted throughout El Paso County over eighty (80) working days. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required - Contractors License Required This project is Road and Bridge funded. BACKGROUND: El Paso County identified a selection of roadways that required rehabilitation work. The Board of County Commissioners agreed that the County required additional funding to repave more roadways in 2022 in order to improve the County Road network. El Paso County is seeking bids from qualified, experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for 2022 Road and Bridge Construction, per the attached and incorporated specifications and paving location lists. This project is funded through El Paso County Road and Bridge funds. The Project is NOT subject to Davis-Bacon requirements and there is no DBE or OJT goal. GOALS: This solicitation contains two separate paving projects (AFR Project 1 and AFR Project 2), associated bid items, and bid forms. El Paso County intends to award this bid to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, or bidders, for each, individual project. Bidders may bid on one or both projects. There are two separate projects in this solicitation and these projects are planned to be managed separately.
