Scope of Work Synopsis: This Project will provide for a complete renovation to convert approximately 530 square feet of a current lobby/atrium area into additional office space for the ECC, renovation of the remaining approximately 130 square feet of the lobby/atrium area to retain a functional entryway including reconfiguration of a steel and concrete stairway to the second floor, installation of a split-unit unit HVAC system, installation of a 150 kilowatt generator and associated electrical equipment, and approximately 80 linear feet of new steel security fencing with personnel gate. General Description of the Work The Emergency Communications Center (ECC) at Yosemite National Park provides 24-hour all-risk communications for Yosemite National Park, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Devils Post pile National Monument, and Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The ECC is located within a small office within the 96,000 square foot El Portal Maintenance Facility Building. The ECC requires additional office space and electrical equipment in order to accommodate new operational requirements.
