Project Description: The project will slightly raise the roadway profile, correct roadway geometry, add curbs, gutters, catch basins and conveyance, and perform full depth reclamation for Willapa Place Way, including the use of cement treated base. The project also includes improvements to Barnhart and Franklin Streets. Improvements to Barnhart Street are from McKinley Avenue to Jackson Avenue and from Washington Avenue to Ocean Avenue. Improvements on Barnhart Street include constructing a pavement overlay, and the pulverization and repaving of a 400' section near Ocean Avenue which experiences more intensive use. Improvements to Franklin Street include rebuilding the existing pavement using a full depth reclamation and adding cement treated base, due to the high volume of logging trucks on this segment of Franklin Street.
