The City of Bowie, Maryland, is seeking proposals from contractors with experience furnishing and planting native trees on private, residential properties for the City's Plant One Tree on Us (POTOU) program. The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by the bidder or an investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the City that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract; and further reserves the right to reduce or modify the scope of the Project in order to meet funding limits and the City's schedule. By submission of a proposal, the bidder represents that it has the ability to comply with all requirements contained in the Request for Proposals. All questions or requests for clarification regarding this RFP shall be submitted by email to Tiffany Wright at twright@cityofbowie.org by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Answers will be sent to all big package holders by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022. Neither the City nor its representatives shall be liable for any expenses incurred by anyone in connection with the preparation of a response to this RFP. When a firm submits a proposal, the agent who signs the firm name shall, in addition, state the names and addresses of the individuals composing the firm.
