Corporation of the City of Vernon ("the City") of its intent to award a purchase order to Waterhouse Environmental Services Corporation (the "Vendor"), to provide the supply and delivery of desludging polymer for the Vernon Water Reclamation Centre (VWRC). The proposed purchase order will have a value of $113,863.68 inclusive of all applicable taxes and freight. The City is currently in the implementation stage of the new High Rate Anaerobic Digestive (HRAD) system at VWRC, it is not in the City's best interest to run another product analysis and procurement opportunity at this time. Waterhouse is the successful vendor from a previous RFQ process and is the current polymer supplier Once the system is up and running, it is anticipated that it will affect how much polymer and what type will be required. It is anticipated that this procurement will supply enough product to adequately support the implementation and startup of the new HRAD system Once fully operational, the City will initiate two (2) new opportunities as before: 1. Product analysis for efficacy. 2. Product Procurement based on efficacy and pricing. Vendors wishing to object to this decision should submit via email the reasons for their objection to the Contact Person listed below, on or before the Closing Date. Vendors ability to offer goods at a lower cost will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of Vendor objections. City of Vernon decisions in this regard will be final.
