The work consists of installing, modifying, inspecting, testing, and making operational replacement highway-railroad crossing warning systems for SacRT at existing crossing locations. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: installing 108 owner-furnished Western Cullen Hayes 3597 gate mechanisms at various locations as shown in Plans and described in the Technical Specifications and specified by the manufacturer. complete with wiring, miscellaneous hardware, testing, traffic control, disposal of existing equipment all as needed to complete the work.Contractor license classification at the time of award must be Class A, Class B, Class C-7, Class C-10, Class C-13, Class, C-28, C-32, or Class C-61, Class D28. SacRT hereby notifies all Bidders it will affirmatively ensure that, in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, all contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit a bid in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, creed, sex, disability, age, or national origin in consideration for an award.
