As of August 4, 2022, No bids were received. No definite date for the rebid. Scope of work: a new 1,200 sq. ft. addition to the existing 1,800 sq. ft. Macon County Transit Services facility. The work performed will be financed in part by grants provided under programs of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). As such, requirements for construction adopted by the FTA will be part of this project. Requirements adopted by Macon County Government for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) will be part of this project. All minority businesses and historically underutilized businesses are hereby encouraged to submit proposals for this project. Macon County Government reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. Each bidder is required to submit with the bid a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount OR a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check must be submitted with the bid or your firm's bid will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered.
