Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Cotulla, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

La Salle County Appraisal District is now accepting sealed competitive proposals for the Remodel of the Break Room and Restroom Area at its office, which is also an official Texas historic landmark building known as Welhausen School, located in Cotulla, TX Bidder will remove existing wall and floor finishes and prep floor and wall surface as needed, to receive new finishes as specified on drawings provided by LSCAD. Bidder shall protect fixtures to be salvaged. C. Old finishes shall be removed and properly disposed. Disposal shall not be in the District's dumpster. D. Provide and install new commercial-grade ceramic tile flooring through the project area as specified. E. Remove and replace drywall in the restroom areas and breakroom area as specified. Exterior window and exterior wall in break room area remains in place as it is. F. Provide and install commercial grade ceramic tile on all restroom walls to a height of sixty (60) inches from the floor. G. Remove all plumbing fixtures (sinks and toilets) in the restroom areas and prepare all areas for installation of new ADA approved commercial grade wall mounted sinks, touchless water faucets, and touchless flush valves for all toilets. H. Install new commercial grade paper towel dispensers in rest room areas. I. Install new commercial grade soap dispensers in restroom areas. J. Provide and install five (5) ADA approved commercial grade American Standard toilets. Three (3) to be located in the women's restroom and two (2) to be located in the men's restroom. K. Provide and install one (1) ADA approved commercial grade American Standard urinal to be located in the men's restroom. L. Provide and install six (6) commercial grade restroom stalls for each toilet location. M. Provide and install two (2) commercial grade auto-close bathroom doors in restroom area. N. Remove and replace all ceiling tiles throughout the entire project area. O. Remove and replace all electrical fan and lighting fixtures, electrical switches, electrical outlets and receptacles within the project area. P. Install new electrical wiring, electrical switches, electrical outlets and receptacles throughout the project area with separate breaker box/panel in the project area. Q. Remove and replace all electric lighting, within the project area with commercial-grade light emitting diode (LED) lighting. R. Provide and install new commercial grade kitchen cabinetry in the breakroom area as specified which will accommodate new commercial grade kitchen sink with garbage disposal, hot water heater, and lockable pantry. S. Prepare and paint all walls located within the project area. T. Remove and replace all A/C air vents and system ducts and clean all air ducts located in the project area. U. Install new wall mounted fire extinguisher for the break room area V. Provide and install new commercial grade appliances to include, coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave oven. W. The District must approve all products, designs and color schemes before the commencement of the project. X. All manuals with warranty information shall be included *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
