The work consists of providing the design, engineering, fabrication, assembly, installation and inspection of the replacement of the pumping units and the hydraulic cylinders of the passenger elevator # 3 and the freight elevator # 4. - All equipment must be designed according to the existing space in the shaft and the machine room. - Provide all material, labor (including overtime), design, fabrication, installation, inspection and testing required to perform the work as described in this estimate. - The use of the singular is for reference only and it is understood that the Contractor must provide the required number of elements necessary for the execution of the work described in this estimate. - The Contractor is required to include any related work required to perform the work described in this estimate. - All replaced equipment becomes the property of the Contractor and he must remove the replaced equipment from the premises in a prompt and orderly manner. - Provide detailed plans approved by an OIQ engineer. The manual and the conformity and warranty certificates must be submitted to the Departmental Representative and be part of the documents submitted upon completion of the work. - Summary of the work to be carried out on the passenger elevator and the freight elevator. The work is detailed in section 14 20 06 of this specification: 1. Replace the pumping units. 2. Replace the cylinder and piston of each device. 3. Supply and install a PVC type protection to protect the cylinders. 4. Replace the oil line. 5. Supply and install speed limit valve. 6. Replace hydraulic oil.
