The Consultant, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated. Wilson Boulevard (from Golden Gate Boulevard ([CR] 876) to Immokalee Road (CR 846) is currently a two-lane undivided roadway with two-foot-wide shoulders approximately 3.7 miles in length. The proposed project will widen the facility to a four-lane divided roadway with curb and gutter. Proposed typical roadway features will include addition of sidewalks, shared-use path and bike lanes, enhancing bus stops, median and drainage improvements, limited landscaping, and potential lighting. Additional project elements include replacement of the existing bridge over the Cypress Canal, widening or replacement of the bridge box culvert over the Cocohatchee Canal , changes to access along the project corridor, and coordination of utility relocations The County plans to perform Right-of-Way (ROW) acquisition along Wilson Boulevard as needed.
