DISTRICT TRASH REMOVAL SERVICE A site visit is highly recommended for all bidders. A walk through of the holding areas will commence thereafter. Due to COVID-19 virus and New Jersey Executive Orders EO107 and LFN2020-10, Bidders are required to provide their own face masks/personal protection equipment, practice social distancing and hand washing at all times and assume all risks associated with their presence on District premises. All in full accord with the specifications prepared therefore, copies of which may be secured by prospective bidders at the Purchasing Office, 1824 Dr. Dennis Foreman Dr., Mays Landing, NJ, aforesaid, during regular business hours of any week day. Attention of bidders is called to the provisions of Charter 114 of the Laws of 1977 requiring that a bidder upon work in excess of $20,000 shall first have been qualified. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00 bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey division of Property under the terms of New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualification/Classification Certificate will be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. The bid proposal for the contract will be awarded through a Fair and Open Process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127. Bidders must also comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, C. 33 requiring filing of statement of ownership. Bidders are required to comply with P15:P15-20, regarding American Goods. Attention of bidders is also called to the provisions of Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963 requiring the payment of prevailing wages to workmen engaged upon a public work. Bidders must also comply with the requirements of PL 2004; C. 57 requiring submission of the State Division of Revenue issued Business Registration Certificate. In accord with the provisions of Chapter 114 of the Laws of 1977, any person desiring to submit a bid by mail or to submit a bid prior to the time for receipt of bids as set forth in this notice, should address or deliver the same to Leslie Henry, R.P.P.O., Purchasing Agent, Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District, 1824 Dr. Dennis Foreman Dr., Mays Landing, NJ 08330, who will retain the same until the time set forth for the receipt of bids. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A18A-22 as amended.
