Site work and new construction of a residential development in Goderich, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,640-square-foot, two-story above grade residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The scope of work involves new construction of two, 2320' square, two-storey, wood-framed, slab-on-grade triplexes. Anticipated project schedule: Bidding Period: July 8 - July 26, 2022 Contract Award: September 12, 2022 Construction Completed: May 26, 2023 Submission Requirements: - Submit a completed CCDC11-1996 Contractor's Qualification Statement. Provide phone numbers and e-mail addresses for references. CCDC11-1996 (R2006) forms can be obtained from local construction associations. - Submit a letter from Contractor's bonding company declaring the Contractor can provide a bid bond, performance bond and Labour and Materials Payment Bond. - Submit a letter from Contractor's insurance company verifying commercial general liability limits of not less than $5.0M per occurrence. - Submit C.V of the Site Supervisor to be assigned to this project. Submissions that do not contain the specifics above will not be accepted. Contractors will be evaluated by references provided in their submission. Only those prequalified and approved contractors will be allowed to bid the project. Only six (6) General Contractors will be prequalified to bid the work. This prequalification process does not constitute any obligation on the part of the owner to enter into a contract with any proponents or that the project will proceed.
