For Coating Rehabilitation work related to the Commissions Waterworks System, in accordance with the Specifications prepared by the Commission and any drawings from time to time prepared by the Commission during the term of the Contract, at which time or as soon thereafter as possible, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract Documents The Contract Documents, as may be modified by Addenda, consist of the following component parts, all of which are by this reference made a part hereof as though fully set forth herein: the Invitation for Bids; the General Instructions to Bidders; the Work Authorization Order(s), if any; the General Conditions of Contract; the Specifications, and the Contract Drawings, if any; the Bidders Proposal, including the Work History Statement; and the Contract Agreement. Inspection and Examination A copy of the Bidding Documents and Contract may be examined or procured by a prospective Bidder at the office of the Owner. Bid Security, Bonds and Insurance Each Bidders Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security deposit of at least $25,000 as specified in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Bonds and Certificates and Policies of Insurance in accordance with the Contract Documents at the Closing. Prevailing Wage All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act
