Major features of this project include the following: 1. Seal and pave roads and parking areas at the Delta Field Division (DFD), Harvey O. Banks Pumping Plant. Work shall consist of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, material, equipment, tools, and services required for replace distressed pavement with new material, application of seal coat, placing, and compacting of hot mix asphalt pavement for roadways and parking lots, to the lines, grades, and dimensions shown on the drawings and as specified herein. a. Traffic controls. b. Demolition. c. Asphaltic emulsion. d. Screening gradations. e. Traffic stripes and pavement markings. f. Slurry seal coat. g. Miscellaneous pavement repairs. h. Hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving and overlays. i. Ditch work and HMA dikes. j. Earthwork, including removing 1- 1/2 to 4 inches of existing asphalt. k. PVC pipe installation. l. Precast concrete drain inlet. m. Compaction of aggregate base. n. Miscellaneous pavement and parking features including wheelstops.
