Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Saint Charles, Maryland. Working plans call for the addition of a 16,520-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
**As of December 21, 2022 were over the budget. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid. : The project consists of major renovations and addition to the existing single story fire station totaling approximately 16,520 square feet. The apparatus bay addition will consist of additional bays and apparatus support spaces including a storage mezzanine. The addition is proposed to be approximately 3,730 square feet while the remaining area shall be renovation to the existing building. In addition the Work shall consist of modifications to the existing site and other various items indicated within the Documents. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities
