The City of Schertz, Texas, intends to purchase and invites you to submit a sealed bid for: Property Abatement Services Any questions in reference to this bid may be directed to Purchasing in writing to JGohlke@schertz.com no later than June 30, 2022. If the City enters into an Agreement as a result of this IFB, The City anticipates the initial term of the Agreement will begin upon execution of an agreement through September 30, 2023 ("Initial Term"), with the option to extend the Contractor's Services for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each (each an "Extension Term"). The Initial Term and each Extension Term are collectively referred to as the "Term." In accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City. The City shall evaluate the bids on the basis of all factors that have bearing on price and performance of the items. The City of Schertz reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses, waive any or all formalities or technicalities, accept the response or portions of the response determined to be the best value and most advantageous to the City, and hold the responses for a period of 90 days without taking action. Respondents are required to hold their responses firm for the same period of time.
