Reference Number : 1613942 Review Title : Snow Removal and Road Maintenance in Winter Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-06-27 Submission sent electronically accepted: No Options related to this notice: This notice has renewal options (2 optional years) INVITATION TO TENDERS (AO) MSG-401-110-TD-20220602-01 SNOW REMOVAL AND ROAD MAINTENANCE IN WINTER OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAINT-GILLES The Municipality of Saint-Gilles (municipality or MSG) is requesting tenders for snow removal and winter maintenance of traffic lanes (roads) under its responsibility, the supply of all services and equipment required to make traffic passable without extraordinary risk on the road network for which it is responsible, in the winter season. The services covered include, but are not limited to, the removal of snow, ice, sleet and any other substance of a similar nature, harmful to tire grip and accumulating on the roadway, by use of relevant equipment, snow plows, snow blowers or any other equipment, as well as by the spreading of fluxes and abrasives or any other method meeting the requirements of these DAOs. The contract(s) envisaged for these purposes would be for a DURATION TO BE DETERMINED, which could be , depending on the offers received and what seems most advantageous to the municipality: Either ONE (1) year, for the 2022-2023 season; Or TWO (2) years, for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons; i.e. THREE (3) years, for the 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons; Either FOUR (4) years, for the 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons; Where either FIVE (5) years, for the 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025, 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons; And possibly, if a tenderer offers it, two (2) additional optional years , ie the following seasons in each case, it being understood that there will be an individual option in favor of the municipality only for each of the seasons concerned . Any interested Eligible Supplier may submit a bid for one or more of these duration options; it is not mandatory to bid for all options or for all blocks or sectors. Complete tender documents are available exclusively through the Electronic Tendering System and can only be obtained through Electronic Tendering System; no other document binds the municipality. Persons interested in submitting a bid will receive any additional or amending call for tenders document (including the questions and answers submitted) by the Electronic Tendering System. All tenders must in particular be accompanied by a tender guarantee of 10% of the total amount tendered for the first year covered by this call for tenders, in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft or surety bond valid for the entire period the tender must remain in force, according to the higher amount appearing next to the contingencies for which a tender is presented, and cannot be withdrawn. Any submission must be presented only on the submission forms annexed to these DAOs. All documents and information required herein in support of a bid must also be attached or provided and filed at the office of the municipality at the same time as the main bid form, no document added and not required will be taken into account. and will not bind the municipality, which may also consider null and void any submission accompanied by an ambiguous, contradictory document or one that goes against the provisions of these DAOs. This call for tenders takes place without any admission and without prejudice to all the rights and remedies of the municipality. The Municipality does not undertake to accept either the lowest bid or any of the bids and is exonerated from any responsibility with regard to one or the other of the bidders in the event of the rejection of all the bids, each tenderer accepting and doing his business of these conditions. Any contract is eventually awarded by decision of the Council of the municipality, at its sole discretion, and the municipality cannot be bound in any other way than by a resolution of its Council.
