This project includes repairing eleven roadway segments within the City of Philadelphia. Four segments, Dock Street (2nd Street to Christopher Columbus Boulevard), Dock Street (Walnut Street to 2nd Street), 38th Parallel Place, and Spruce Street are within the Society Hill neighborhood. The other seven segments are on Front Street between Water/Vine Street and Ellen Street. This project will also upgrade non-compliant ADA ramps and crosswalks to current standards. Where possible, existing materials will be either reused or replaced in kind for the landing. At locations where the existing sidewalk is brick or other historic materials (slate, granite etc.), the design will include pigmented concrete for the ramps to complement the existing materials. The ADA ramps will be design-build. The project includes miscellaneous construction on various streets in the City of Philadelphia as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for Citywide Resurfacing, Section 109, in Philadelphia County.
