Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Greenville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Project consists of the construction of a new salt barn and associated site work for the City of Greenville, located on South Ohio Street within the City of Greenville. Site Work to include storm sewer, site grading and pavement installation. The City will be self-performing much of the work associated with the site plan. These plans are intended to represent the work associated with the entire project completed by a combination of City and contractor. The engineer's estimate for this project is $550,000.00. All concrete and aggregate will be purchased by the City of Greenville directly from supplier. All excavated material will stay on site and be disposed of by the City of Greenville Top structure will be provided and installed by ClearSpan Structures. Contractor must coordinate installation with ClearSpan. Attached with the bid is a set of plans for the top structure. A geotechnical report has been completed by the City of Greenville, in light of this, it has been recommended that the top 2-feet of engineered backfill below footings consist of ODOT 304 crush aggregate material placed and compacted in accordance with the geotechnical report. (Please see included geotechnical report) The City of Greenville will hire CBC Engineers to inspect for proper compaction. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
