For furnishing all labor, material, and equipment and performing all work required to construct a parking lot at the Blytheville Elementary School in Blytheville, Arkansas as described in the plans and specifications. The project site is located at 216 E. Moultrie Dr, Blytheville, AR. The project consists of the following: Furnishing the material, labor, and equipment necessary to construct a new 16,000 sq. ft. asphalt parking lot with curb and gutter sidewalks, and drainage. The notice of award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The attention of bidders is called to the fact that Act 150 of 1965 (as amended), Arkansas Statutes, states that under certain conditions a Contractor must be licensed by the State Licensing Board for Contractors before he may undertake work in Arkansas. The Bidder shall comply with requirements of this Arkansas Law. Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder's financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance in completing similar work. The Blytheville School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be for their best interest.
