This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. The procedure specified under Section 2.2-4330(A) (i), VA Code Ann. shall apply: "... the bidder shall give notice in writing of his claim of right to withdraw his bid within two (2) business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure; ...". The Fairfax County Park Authority of Fairfax County, Virginia reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the Fairfax County Park Authority. Bids are hereby solicited for the removal of an existing approximately 36 ft wooden bridge, installation of a new 45 ft x 8' prefabricated fiberglass pedestrian bridge, four (4) helical anchors, concrete paving, and related work at McLean Central Park. The bridge structure, helical anchor design and all permits will be provided by the Owner. The Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of existing bridge, transporting the bridge parts from 1929 Pimmit Drive, Falls Church, VA 22043 to the work site and assembly of the bridge according to the bridge manufacturers recommendations. Work shall include but not limited as depicted on "Summary of Work". Project Substantial Completion must be met by Friday, September 16, 2022.
