The Chester County Area Airport Authority is seeking engineering firms to submit letters of interest and statements of qualifications for general consulting, planning, environmental, engineering, and construction phase services on an as needed basis for the Chester County/G.O. Carlson Airport located in Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The Airport is a general aviation airport owned and managed by the Authority. The Airport has 5400-foot runway. The Authority has an approved Twelve-Year Airport Capital Improvement Plan and works with PennDOT Bureau of Aviation to obtain funding for capital improvement projects through the state aviation block grant program. The Authority also is desirous of expanding airport operations. The firm selected to provide professional services will be awarded a three (3) year contract with two (2) one-year options to renew, subject to approval by the Authority. The tasks to be undertaken by the consultant shall be on a task order basis with the fee for each determined by a professional services agreement identifying hourly costs for personnel classifications at the time of the request by the Authority.
