As of July 25, 2022, project was awarded to Vortex Services but awarded amount is not available. Rehab in place the entire interior surface of existing 75 LF of 96 diameter corrugated metal pipe using a minimum of 1.5 thick Geo-Krete geopolymer material or comparable. Lining material should fill all voids and currogations. The material should be placed using the centrifugally cast method or comparable and be formulated to fill large voids in pipe and structure walls and to repair or reconstruct inverts where no hydrostatic pressure exists. At a minimum the material should have a compressive strength of 1 day > 3,000 psi. This work should be performed without damaging the existing water line(s) punched through the pipe. The contractor shall contact and coordinate with all involved utilities as needed. All Materials shall be ASTM approved. The applicator shall conform with all local, state and federal regulations including those set forth by OSHA and the EPA and any other applicable authorities. Confined space entry requirements shall be followed. Erosion control measures will need to be in place to minimize siltation in the creek There is an existing 75 LF, 96" CMP culvert under Rosebay Drive located adjacent to 1 Rosebay Drive in the Dove Tree Subdivision off Roper Mountain Road in Greenville. The culvert is nearing the end of it's serviceable life. Due to it's location and conflicts with driveway access and utility lines, we would like to rehab it in place instead of replacing it.
