The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Department of Forestry ("Agency"), is issuing this Invitation to Bid to provide heritage surveys, field data collecting, updating previously identified sites, and recording new cultural resources on the Malheur National Forest (MNF), hereinafter, referred to as ("the project"). The Malheur National Forest (MNF) and the Oregon Department of Forestry are seeking a cultural resource management contractor to complete approximately 2,600 acres of survey and site documentation for a portion of the Boundary Vegetation Management Project (Boundary Project). The Boundary Project comprises nearly 38,000 acres of National Forest System lands on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District (ECRD) of the Malheur National Forest. All work must be completed on this project prior to September 30, 2022. Additional details on the Scope of the goods or services or both are included in Attachment A, Exhibit A (Statement of Work). Agency anticipates the award of one Contract from this ITB. The Contract will be to collect data and record new cultural resources necessary to inform those findings. Contract work will include contact with Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) and MNF personnel.
