All work to be completed to CPS Specifications - Rooftop York YCER model Chiller 1 and YCAR model Chiller 2 repair Chiller Bid Reading: meet.google.com/kfd-rxno-irh Scope of Work Provide Parts and Labor to repair: Chiller 1 (North) o Circuit 1 o Refrigerant: o Charge with 90lbs of R22 or comparable product. o Circuit 2 o Compressor: o Furnish and install new Compressor o Supply crane to lower old compressor and hoist new one to the roof approx. 4 to 5 stories o Remove and Replace Filter Drier and Contactor. o Perform Nitrogen Leak Check-Repair Solderable Leaks. o Remove and Replace All Sensors, Transducers and Harnesses for Circuit 2. o Refrigerant: o Reclaim and discard all refrigerant. o Place Vacuum on the System-Charge Circuit with 278 LBS of R 22 Refrigerant. o Condenser Coils: o Assess hail damage Chiller #2 (South) Remove and Replace Entering and Leaving Water Temperature Sensors and Harnesses. o CIRCUIT #2 o Remove and Replace All Sensors, Transducers and Harnesses. o Refrigerant o Charge Circuit with an approximately 60 LBS of R22. Note Refrigerant may require more or less than 60lbs dependent on sensor replacement, be prepared to submit additional quote if more is needed. o Vendor will leave unused refrigerant with engineer o Condenser Coils: o Assess hail damage of coils o Both Chillers o Contractor to ensure that all required contactors, valves, meters, and gages are properly installed. o If additional trades are required for repair the awardee will be responsible for securing and coordinating that trades vendor to ensure repairs are turned over 100% complete at the end of the project. 1) Contractors are to visit the site and have walked-thru the entire school prior to providing a bid. Contractor to fully familiarize themselves with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed. Walk-through is mandatory and required prior to submitting bid. Any contractor that does not walk through on the specified date will have bid rejected. 2) Work to be performed during 2nd shift after regular school hours if done job awarded during . 3) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all before placing bid. 4) Not responsible for contractor errors because of non-field verification. 5) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on i. SECTION 23 23 00_REFRIGERANT PIPING ii. SECTION 23 64 26_ROTARY-SCREW WATER CHILLERS iii. Section 23 05 93_ Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing for HVAC iv. SECTION 23 05 23_ GENERAL-DUTY VALVES FOR HVAC PIPING v. SECTION 23 05 19_ METERS AND GAGES FOR HVAC PIPING 6) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 7) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, replace and/or repair as necessary. 8) All questions/requests must be received 2 business days, prior to bid closing. 9) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representative to complete in an agreed upon timeframe. 10) Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 11) All trash must be removed offsite by vendor and area left clean. The Bid will be publicly opened on Jun 10th 2022, 12:00 PM CDT - o The proposal shall be submitted with the attached Bid Cover Sheet completed in its entirety. o Warranty information, when applicable, shall also be included & submitted. o All work to be performed during normal working hours. o If bid price is over $25,000 or more, bidder must be signatory to relevant union, per terms of the Various Trades Contract and Project Labor Agreement. o If bid price is over $75,000, you MUST include your MBE/WBE subs and relevant forms at time of bid.
