The City of Golden is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the development of one or two community solar garden projects to submit in the fall Xcel Energy community solar program offering. The purpose of this award is to begin a review process and work with the City to complete a cost-benefit analysis and proposal. If selected, the City may allow the developer to move forward with one or more SLA that will allow the developer to design, build, finance, own, operate, and maintain up to 15 solar photovoltaic (PV) electric generation systems on City-owned or City-leased property.
