The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), State Highway Administration (SHA) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to provide Pipe Replacement services as outlined in this IFB at the MDOT SHA Frederick Shop. It also includes the replacement of the existing headwall and modification of the existing Junction Box No. 1 (JB-1) to fit the new larger pipe. The area around the pipe will be regraded to meet the new headwall and the shared-use path (SUP) over the pipe will be reconstructed. The project is located on Monocacy Blvd. approximately 1,500 feet east of US 15 and 15 feet west of the MTA railroad crossing. This Contract provides for all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to complete the scope of work.
