Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mullens, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The equipment required is as follows: 1) SBR control system/ restoration necessitated by the age of the facility and changes in technology. The upgrade/restoration shall consist of but not limited to a new PLC and HMI, Graphic Operator Interface and process control programing that adjust the cycle timing as a function of influent flow. The installation shall have the capabilities to enhance the plants performance by monitoring the DO levels in the future, as a minimum. 2) Submersible Pumps shall be Flygt or acceptable equals and compatible to the existing pump bases and slide rail system. Pumps desired are as follows: two (2) Flygt 3102.170 MP263-2 6hp, one (1) Flygt 3102.180 NP 463-4 5hp, two (2) Flygt 3102.170 MP216.2 5.4hp and two (2) Flygt 3085.172 MP257-2 3hp American Recovery Acts funds will be utilized and the Sanitary Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A lump sum price shall be provided for the SBR process restoration/upgrade and unit cost shall be provided for the various pumps.
