Additionally, the scope of work includes upgrading the process mechanical, electrical, structural, HVAC, and I&C systems of the aeration blower system and replacement of all electrical equipment in Blower Building No. 1 .The specific areas of work include, but are not limited to the items listed below, along with associated piping, valves, support systems and appurtenances, structural, painting, electrical, instrumentation, tie-ins to existing systems, and testing .The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of existing multistage centrifugal blower assemblies, including blowers, heat exchangers, control panels, piping, valving, and instrumentation. 2. Demolition of existing concrete pads for multistage centrifugal blower assembliesDemolition of electrical equipment within the electrical room of Blower Building No. 1 as indicated on the Drawings. 4. Demolition of abandoned compressed air system in Blower Building No. 1. 5. Demolition of all existing instrumentation and surge control panels associated with the three multistage centrifugal blower 5. Maintain plant operations throughout construction as specified. 6. Installation of two single stage integral gear blowers, and associated piping, valves, and appurtenances; control panels and instrumentation. 7. Construction of concrete pads for blower assemblies and concrete building slab. 8. Installation of mechanical equipment. 9. Installation of water line for blower cooling water and building drain piping modifications. 10. Replacement of all electrical equipment within electrical room in Blower Building No.1 and associated wiring between panels, MCCs, instruments and equipment. 11. Improvements to Blower Building No. 1: concrete repairs, recoating the building interior, HVAC system, lightning protection and lighting improvements. 12. Integration of equipment into Plant's SCADA System.
