As of January 25, 2024, construction of this project commenced June 6, 2023, and reached substantial completion as of August 8, 2023. for Northview Middle School Window Refurbishment and Replacement for Hickory Public School . Project Description: The project involves the refurbishment and replacement of windows at the existing Northview Middle School. Project Location: 302 28th Avenue NE, Hickory, North Carolina 28601. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on or after June 6, 2023 and shall complete the Work on or before August 13, 2023. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Refer to Section 002113 "Instructions to Bidders." Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work.
