It is the intent of this Request for Proposals for Professional Services (PS) to select a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pre-qualified firm to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection services (CEI) for the Kissimmee to St. Cloud Trail Project (Federal-aid Funding - LAP) FM# 439067-1-68-01. The project consists of installing shared-use path, connecting the Partin Triangle Park and the existing trail along Neptune Rd. to the proposed East Lake Tohopekaliga Lakeshore on Lakeshore Blvd. The length of the trail is approximately 1.43 miles. Construction will include a 8-ft minimum (14-ft wide preferred) concrete shared use path, a signalized pedestrian crossing at Brown Chapel Road, signing and pavement markings, lighting and a crosswalk. Other improvements will include: mailbox, light pole and signage relocation, drainage improvements. The Proposer (prime) Consultant shall be FDOT prequalified in Major Work Group 10.1 (Roadway Construction Engineering Inspection). The prime consultant or its qualified subconsultant(s) must be FDOT prequalified in Minor Work Group: 10.4 (Minor Bridge and Miscellaneous Structures CEI) Question End Date 6/29/2022 12:00 PM The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
