Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of August 25 2023, te project has been awarded and notice to proceed has been issued, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. In general the work consists of: The installation of a reinforced concrete perimeter31 curbing on select areas of Level 5. Curbing includes modifications to pedestrian32 barriers between precast stitch walls, elastomeric sealant work, urethane traffic33 membrane work.34 35 Level 2 work includes the select repair of precast TT edges, TT to TT shear connection36 weld inspection and repairs, removal and replacement of all TT joint sealant to limits,37 installation of urethane hybrid traffic membrane over existing unknown traffic38 membrane and bare concrete. Traffic painting of directional arrows to be performed.39 The removal and replacement of adjacent metal pedestrian railings are required.40 Phasing of work is required to maintain one functioning entry traffic lane to parking41 structure at all times. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
